The work of Thomas is still highly prized  today. It is not unreasonable for one of his finer works to sell for a five figure sum.

Nicholas Fazackerley ~1895, Builder and Contractor, Grocer and Beer Seller constructed Fazackerley Street in Ashton-on-Ribble, Preston, along with at least 23 houses in the street.

Frank Crisp's first edition of Fazackerley's Millions appeared in 1955.  A tale of high adventure, perhaps inspired by the myth of the  lost Fazakerley fortune?
